Purity Ring

I was thinking..."where should I post this topic?" stupid...I know.
Any who... I'm sure we all know what a purity ring symbolizes..if not, it's a promise to yourself that you will remain a virgin until love can wait no more...lol...you've gotten married and are able to replace it with an engagement ring. It means a lot and to me, I think people view you differently when they're rationalizing. So, I would wear it on the left hand, because the ring will last longer, less bruises and scratches...ya know..and on the finger next to the pinky! I want it to be a titanium ring with words embed "like a virgin"'' lol...no "I'm a virgin, touch me" hahaha...no this is serious, but I want something embedded and don't tell me what to get, because it's a promise to myself so It'll have to come from the heart....what do y'all feel about purity rings?!

And yes, you should get a purity ring. I think that it's good motivation whenever you feel yourself wanting to get intimate with a guy. I've never liked a guy long enough to want to do anything with him, but around this age hormones start to kick in (your stomach) lol, insider... Some girls get pregnant and have babies kick in, while others stay safe and have hormones kick in (I think that's funny) But, at this age, guys are going to want to charge at you, and I'm not sure, but I think if they see the ring, or find out the meaning, they'll respect your higher level of respect for yourself.

Hahahahaha...yes, you can be born again...but it's not like they strip away your thoughts...just your sins. And sure, I will post a picture of one. It's not like the one I want, but it's still one. Hold on...It's just a ring that you wear on your engagement finger until marriage...looks like most rings, just either plain or plain with a saying like "love waits" but hold on...

i think purity rings are a good idea and a good witness to people who dont believe in your cause or who think they are alone. but you dont need to wear a symbol on your finger just as long as you know what you believe in your heart. they are just a good reminder. you can be a born again virgin. if you believe in God, all you have to do is repent or ask god to forgive your sins. but of course there will always be temptations and "thoughts" but thats what will power is for. you have to just keep being strong.

lol, oh yeah, was that you who asked for a picture...I never did that (so sorry) but you're right Kia. I love accessories (rings/earrings especially) and I thought that if I want a ring on that finger, then why not have a ring that's "meant" to belong on that finger...and that means something.

The picture above is a purity ring...it's not like the one that I want but it was one of the bigger pictures and one of the prettier ones. Most of them have a small simple phrase, but this one doesn't.

that is a nice ring. i have one some where (i dont exactly know where it is) but its just a silver band that says forgiven on it. but its cool because its spelled "4gvn". but i never knew what hand to wear it on. lol
